Poe Worthy? ; Intertwine

As I said, I'm an occasional poet, and I happen to have one for you to peer at.
I warn you, it's not The Raven or Nothing Gold Can Stay, but it's good for me.

Intertwine;

The bright blue sky fades to gray,
this whole time with no words to say.
But we speak with our hearts, not our tongues,
the sound of your heartbeat chokes my lungs.
There's no place I would rather be,
Not the city, nor the calming sea.
I just want your heartbeat next to mine,
Smiling when our hands intertwine.
Your eyes sparkle from the pale moonlight,
my heart, it's filled will ecstatic delight.
Amazed by every move you make,
Choked happily from every breathe you take.
Each star I see, up in the sky,
Reminds me of the twinkle in your eye.
And as the dawn breaks through the black,
You're just as gorgeous, nothing you lack.
A kiss to end all silent words,
when we hear the slight songs of the birds.
I just want your heartbeat next to mine,
Smiling when our hands intertwine.
